The Cherwell School’s Sixth Form is excited to invite employers to take part in our ‘World of Work’ programme for Year 12, our innovative approach to work-based learning. Through a series of tasters, we connect students and employers, helping students to think ambitiously and purposefully about their future careers.
The event involves a morning of students working in school on placement-style tasks, facilitated by employers, in a career area they would like to explore. I’ve attached an overview of the programme, with a couple of examples of previous tasks.
We have three dates this year (each standalone events), all 8.45am – 12.20pm:

- Friday 31 January 2025
- Tuesday 11 March 2025
We can help talk through the days and help with guidance and resourcing for a task.
