Careers Carousel @ Icknield Community College

We are looking forward to hosting a Careers Carousel in July this year.  This event is aimed at our Y8 & Y9 cohort to encourage them to start thinking about their careers and pending GCSE’s and GCSE choices.  We are looking for 10 companies who would be willing to give up the early part of their afternoon to talk to our students.  There will be 4 session, each lasting 12mins, where students will have chosen to learn more about your business and career.  We propose that you bring along a prop which will encourage the students to quiz you to learn about your business and job role.  We would suggest that each company prepares a brief power point which will support your item and ultimately what your company does.  It would also be good for the students to know a little bit about your career journey and how they could enter into your field.
