Year 9 STEM careers morning – Monday 3 February 2025
We are running a STEM careers morning for employers to run interactive workshops for our Year 9 students. This is our third consecutive year of running this event and our students have really benefited from the interaction with local employers.
What we are looking for:
- Employers who have a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Maths focus to run workshops of 15 mins for groups of students. The workshops will be repeated on a carousel type basis so by the end of the morning all of our Year 9s will have had your workshop. We have a ‘can do’ attitude so can work with you on this. The more interactive the workshop the better!
What we can offer you:
- Enthusiastic students! They will be choosing their GCSE options in early March so will be focused on careers and futures.
- Help from Post 16 students and experienced teachers on hand to support in the workshops.
- A chance to make a real positive difference to our students
- A cup of tea/coffee and biscuits!
