Cheney School Work Experience – Year 11

Work Experience is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their skills at your work. They will learn to develop their employability skills whilst getting a taste of what work is really like. In my opinion this is the best way we can teach students about work, in a real setting at your company/organisation.

This event is for Year 11 Cheney Students. We would like our students to come into your work and experience working with you for 5 days. Successful placements are normally when students get to sample real work, or do some real mini projects.

We would like our students to experience work in the following areas; Construction, Business/ Administration, Catering, Retail, Engineering/ Motor Vehicle, Science, Healthcare, Social care, Computing/ICT, Media, Retail, etc.

All placements would need Employers Liability Insurance, and we would check the health and safety of all placements.
